Indian television actor Nakuul Mehta shared an Instagram story praising the Original Soundtrack (OST) of the trending Pakistani drama Dar-e-Nijat, asking his followers on social media, “Where does one find this gorgeous soundtrack?”
Mehta is a popular Indian television actor. He played Shivaay Singh Oberoi in the Star Plus drama Ishqbaaaz, which aired from June 2016 to March 2019.
Dar-e-Nijat airs every Friday and Saturday at 8pm. Umera Ahmed wrote the drama, while Saqib Khan directed it. Three’s Entertainment produced the show that has crossed 1.7 billion views across social media platforms during its run, making it the most-watched Pakistani drama still airing.
The story follows three people from very different worlds. Abu Bakar, played by Sheheryar Munawar, is thoughtful and controlled, shaped by his religious values and by his mother Khushbakht. Zaryab, played by Durefishan Saleem, is confident and modern, and she is emotionally attached to Zamil, played by Nameer Nawaz Khan.
Zamil’s relationship with Zaryab begins to crack under jealousy and insecurity. He grows more interested in Abu Bakar’s religious world and spends time with a Tableeghi Jamaat. Romaisa Khan plays Hamna, whose storyline connects to Abu Bakar’s.
