Indian content creator and influencer Ruchika Gaurav has drawn attention online by recreating a popular cinematic look set to the song “Dar-e-Nijat”.
The video opens with Ruchika reacting excitedly to a drama scene playing on a TV, with the on-screen text “Dar-e-nijaat fever is too real”. It then cuts to a styled shoot in a candlelit room with ornate backdrops and marigold garlands. She wears a dark green flared outfit with a sequined jacket-style top, silver jhumkas and flower garlands in her hair.
She holds a lit diya, waves incense smoke and twirls with a sheer sparkly dupatta.
Ruchika is the wife of Indian YouTuber Nischay Malhan, who goes by the name Triggered Insaan. Nischay married Ruchika on June 9 in Himachal Pradesh.
Dar-e-Nijaat airs every Friday and Saturday at 8pm Pakistan time on ARY Digital. Umera Ahmed wrote the drama while Saqib Khan directed it.
The story follows three people from very different worlds. Sheheryar Munawar plays Abu Bakar, Durefishan Saleem plays Zaryab and Nameer Nawaz Khan plays Zamil. Abu Bakar shapes his worldview around the teachings of his mother, Khushbakht, who Sania Saeed plays. Zaryab is a modern, confident young woman who is emotionally attached to Zamil.
Zamil grows deeply envious of Abu Bakar. He later leaves Zaryab in pursuit of what he considers a more religious life. Romaisa Khan plays Hamna.
Three’s Entertainment, the drama’s producer, released a five-song soundtrack album for the drama.
