Pakistani social media star Bilal Hassan, known online as Mystapaki, has sparked a wave of excitement among his followers after suggesting that actress Saba Qamar Zaman should play alleged drug dealer Anmol Pinky in an upcoming Pakistani production.
In a video posted on his Instagram account, Bilal passionately urged local production houses to cast Saba in the role, arguing that the character seems tailor-made for her. He also suggested Pakistani actor Gohar Rasheed for the male lead.
Bilal pointed to Saba’s acclaimed performances in drama serials such as Baaghi and Case No. 9 as proof that she has the range to pull off such a complex character. “If anyone has seen her acting in Baaghi and Case No. 9, they would readily agree,” he said.
He also urged production houses to move quickly, warning that Bollywood could jump on the story first and twist the narrative. “Directors and scriptwriters are already planning to feature this story,” he noted, stressing the importance of a Pakistani production taking the lead.
The suggestion struck a chord online, with followers flooding the comments in agreement. “What an idea sir jee,” one user wrote.
“Saba will rock this character,” said another, while others called her “phenomenal” and “the best actress in Pakistan.”
Saba started her career with PTV in 2004 and rose to prominence through acclaimed dramas such as Dastaan, Maat, Cheekh, and Baaghi. The Pakistan government recognised her contributions to the arts with two of the country’s highest civilian awards, the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2012 and the Pride of Performance in 2016.
She later crossed over to Bollywood with Hindi Medium, earning a Filmfare nomination for her performance.
Her most recent project was the psychological thriller Muamma on Hum TV, which wrapped in April 2026 and earned widespread praise for her portrayal of the complex and layered character Jahan Ara.
