Islamabad Police have fulfilled the wish of a young cancer patient on Thursday by naming him an honorary Superintendent of Police (SP) for a day.
Islamabad Police shared a video of the visit on social media.
Muhammad Furqan, who is battling cancer, wanted to become a police officer. Islamabad Police granted him the honorary rank under the “Make A Wish” initiative, on the special instructions of Islamabad Inspector General of Police Muhammad Suhail Chaudhry.
Furqan visited the I-9 Police Station, where officers briefed him on police duties and operations.
Kawish and Fauji Foundation worked with Islamabad Police to carry out the initiative.
Furqan’s brother and sister thanked the police and the two organisations for arranging the day.
