Pakistani TikToker Jannat Mirza addressed questions about marriage plans during a recent Instagram Q&A session, giving fans a candid look at her thoughts on the subject.
When a fan asked her when she plans to get married, Jannat replied, “I don’t know myself. Seeing the state of married people these days, I don’t even feel like it. So much cruelty.” She added that perfectly good lives get ruined. “One should decide calmly, after thinking it through,” she concluded.
The response quickly circulated among fan pages, with many followers reacting to the candid take.

This is not the first time Jannat has fielded questions about her private life. In May 2026, she addressed engagement rumors during another Instagram Ask Me Anything session after a video showing her in white traditional attire alongside a man went viral.
She denied the speculation at the time, stating there no engagement or nikah had taken place, and said that she would personally share any major life update with her fans first.
Jannat was previously engaged to Umer Butt, with the couple confirming their engagement in 2021 before calling it off in late 2022. She later spoke about the split during a podcast appearance, saying that the decision followed two years of deliberation and that she preferred the traditional route of an arranged marriage going forward.
Jannat Mirza is one of Pakistan’s most followed digital personalities, with over 25 million followers on TikTok and around six million followers on Instagram.
