A video clip purportedly showing Pakistani TikTok star Jannat Mirza at an engagement ceremony has gone viral on social media, sending fans into a frenzy and sparking widespread speculation over its authenticity.

In the clip, Jannat appears alongside a man described by online accounts as her supposed fiancé. The man, dressed in white, is seen placing a ring on her finger while Jannat wears a dull gold saree-style outfit paired with emerald and kundan jewellery, giving the scene a formal, traditional look.

Jannat has not posted any pictures or clips related to the video on her official accounts. Despite the footage spreading rapidly across fan pages and entertainment accounts, her silence has only deepened the confusion, with many questioning whether the clip is genuine, staged, or digitally manipulated.

Jannat did, however, respond indirectly. In an Instagram story, she wrote: “Me hearing some news about me that I didn’t even know,” without specifying what she was referring to.

The cryptic post did little to settle the debate, and speculation continued to grow.

The viral clip has also brought renewed public attention to her past relationship with fellow TikToker Umer Butt.

The two were among Pakistan’s most talked-about influencer couples, eventually confirming their engagement in 2021. Their relationship ended around late 2022 or early 2023. Umer described the split as mutual, while Jannat said she realised over time that the relationship was not suitable for marriage, citing compatibility issues and stating that she felt relieved it ended before they wed.

Fans remain divided, with some convinced the footage is real and others suspecting it may be from an upcoming project.
