Hunter Biden, son of former United Stated (US) President Joe Biden has called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “evil incarnate” during an interview aired Monday on Tucker Carlson’s podcast.

During the episode, Carlson asked questions about Hunter Biden’s leaked laptop, claiming that Israeli figures had pushed false allegations that the computer contained material showing the abuse of minors.

“The claim that there was material involving the abuse of minors on the computer came from the Israelis. I’m just telling you that they came to me with it, and that’s how I know it,” Carlson confirmed.

Carlson said that the alleged efforts took place in 2020, when he was working as a presenter for Fox News. He claimed that former US intelligence officials had falsely attributed the laptop narratives to Russian propaganda, while individuals connected to Netanyahu were behind the effort.

“Maybe the Russians had a hand in it, but it was the Israelis who were pushing that fact. Fact, I mean literally pushing it to me,” Carlson stated.

Hunter Biden, meanwhile, said that he did not have confirmation of who leaked the files but argued that multiple groups were involved in spreading the material. He pointed to Russian entities, his father’s domestic political opponents and what he described as a “Netanyahu operation centre, the Israeli side.”

Hunter Biden also rejected accusations of antisemitism over his criticism of the Israeli prime minister.

“I’m supposed to hate Tucker Carlson because he’s an antisemite… I know you’re not an antisemite. I’m 100 percent sure you’re not. My point being that if it’s antisemitic to point out that Bibi Netanyahu is evil incarnate, then… I don’t know what to say to people anymore,” Biden said.

The laptop controversy dates back to April 2019, when John Paul Mac Isaac, the owner of a computer repair shop in Wilmington, Delaware, received a damaged Apple computer and an external hard drive.

The FBI took possession of the device in December 2019.

In October 2020, The New York Post published emails from the hard drive detailing Hunter Biden’s business dealings with Ukrainian energy company Burisma. Personal videos, text messages and images later circulated online and in news reports, including material showing Hunter Biden engaging in drug use and sex acts.

However, there is no evidence supporting claims that Hunter Biden abused minors.

Hunter Biden has previously acknowledged his drug addiction and legal problems. He was convicted on gun and tax charges before receiving a pardon from his father in December 2024.

The latest appearance is part of a series of recent media engagements by Hunter Biden. He has also appeared in an interview with the BBC, where he discussed his father’s health, and on a podcast hosted by Candace Owens.
