Instagram has taken down Kangana Ranaut’s post, in which the actor announced her COVID diagnosis and claimed that the coronavirus is nothing more than a “small-time flu which got too much press” and that she will “demolish it”.
Reacting to the deleted post Kangana said that the “platform never appealed to me and I am eagerly waiting to be banned here [and] it will be a badge of honour.”
The actor further said: “Instagram has deleted my post where I threatened to demolish Covid because some were hurt. It’s been two days here on Insta but don’t think will last here more than a week.”
Meanwhile, an FIR has also been lodged against the Bollywood star for spreading hateful propaganda and inciting communal violence in West Bengal.
Earlier, Twitter suspended Kangana’s account after “repeated violations of Twitter rules.” The suspension comes following Kangana’s latest tweets on the political and COVID-19 situation of India.
