A teenager lost his life on Sunday in Karachi's Guru Mandir area after getting into a fight with friends and a family member over a trivial matter, police have stated.
According to Jamshed Quarters police, seven boys were sitting at a restaurant near Kanzul Iman mosque when a heated argument broke out.
Six suspects, named as Talha Mohammed, Hasan alias Arif (a cousin of the deceased), Abdullah, Faraz Sattar, Manan Ali, and Moiz Mohammed, were taken into custody by police when they arrived on the site.
For medico-legal processes, the body was sent to Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital in Karachi.
The dispute between Manan Ali and Abdullah started when a profile picture of Abdullah's girlfriend was discovered on Manan's cell phone, according to Area SHO Anser Ahmed Butt, who spoke to a private news channel.
Manan allegedly pushed Abdul Rehman when he tried to step in, causing him to fall and die.
In the meantime, police stated on Sunday they had arrested two suspects who were allegedly motivated by personal enmity and accused of killing a police constable and burning his body inside his North Karachi home to cover up the crime.
