Jeh Ali Khan, the four-year-old son of Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, has gifted his father a plastic sword for self-defence following the traumatic breaking and entering incident at their home last month.

As per the details, Saif, who is still recovering from the Jan 16 knife attack by the intruder, recounted the vivid details of the eventful night and broke silence on conspiracy theories that have been circulating on social media ever since the incident.

The actor confirmed that the intruder was hiding inside Jeh’s room and domestic help first spotted him around 2 am. Saif also confirmed claims that the man was armed with a knife and hexa blade while he himself was bare-handed.

When asked about his kids’ reactions to the shocking incident, the actor revealed that Jeh gifted him a plastic sword and said, “Keep this by your bed for the next time the chor [thief] comes.”

“Taimur is a little concerned about security. Sara was very emotional and so was Ibrahim… more than he normally is. He was there and has been spending a lot of time with me. It's been really kind of nice for the family to come together, but also obviously, a bit of a shock for everyone,” Saif told the outlet.

It merits a mention that the Bollywood star suffered six stab injuries in the attack. He also suffered injuries on his neck and arm and had to undergo plastic surgery.

Saif was discharged from the hospital on January 21.

Amid conflicting reports on the identity of the attacker, police arrested a Bangladeshi national for allegedly breaking into the actor’s home and the assault. The accused, Shariful Islam Shehzad, told cops that he scaled the wall to enter the compound of the 12-floor building the actor lives in.

The security guards, according to reports, were asleep and the intruder used air-conditioning ducts to enter the actor’s home.

A viral screen grab from the CCTV cameras installed at the fire exit showed the intruder fleeing the scene following the attack.
