After Mohammad Haris, another Pakistani cricketer, Khawaja Muhammad Nafay, has found himself stranded in Bangladesh after playing in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
According to sources, Nafay has not yet received the full payment from his BPL franchise, Chittagong Kings. To make matters worse, the return ticket provided to him turned out to be fake, leaving him stuck at Dhaka Airport with no way to return to Pakistan.
Reports suggest that the franchise is not providing him with any clear answers regarding his payment or travel arrangements.
This incident follows a similar case involving Mohammad Haris, who was also stranded in Bangladesh as a result of poor management by his team, Durbar Rajshahi, failing to provide return tickets to the players. Additionally, the franchise did not pay the players their agreed salaries, creating a financial and logistical crisis for them.
Haris eventually reached out to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for assistance, which stepped in to address the matter.
With another Pakistani player facing the same issues, concerns are growing over the mismanagement and financial irregularities in the BPL, raising questions about the treatment of foreign players in the tournament.
