Kanza Hashmi has revealed facing multiple dangerous stalking incidents that compromised her personal safety and severely affected her ability to trust others.
Speaking during a recent interview, Hashmi disclosed that a fanatical admirer residing abroad attempted to orchestrate a marriage with her by bribing her domestic staff.
The helpers, who had been working at her residence for seven years, were discovered secretly transmitting private photographs of her house, personal items and medical prescriptions to the individual.
Hashmi also stated that uncovering these actions caused her deep distress and ongoing difficulty in trusting people.
The actor also recounted a separate security breach where another stalker managed to locate and reach the filming set of her drama serial.
The same individual subsequently tracked her to her residential building but was unable to locate her specific residence because he did not know her apartment number. Hashmi noted that she had to rely on production staff members on the set to intervene and help remove the individual.
Reflecting on the experiences, Hashmi emphasised that such situations leave victims feeling entirely helpless.
She noted that while public figures frequently encounter invasive and dangerous behavior, initiating formal complaints or pursuing legal action in these specific cases remains highly challenging for many celebrities.
