Pakistani actress Komal Aziz Khan has recently opened up and revealed the reason behind leaving the Pakistani showbiz industry.
Komal was not only a successful actress but she is also a businesswoman, running a clothing brand called Omal By Komal.
In a recent interview, the Raaz-e-Ulfat actress shared the reason behind leaving her career and the drama industry. On a question by the host, Komal replied, “The environment of this industry is not suitable for an educated person.”
“The working hours in this industry were too much but I did not have any problem regarding the payment system,” she said, adding that she was earning a lot better from her business. "But yes, I had problems with the environment.”
She also shared that she was mentally disturbed by the unhygienic washrooms, late meals and the “politics” in the industry.
Komal has worked for a very long time but she revealed that she did not have any friend in the industry. “I have no friends in this industry, in fact, no one has made friends in this industry, friends are only limited to Instagram and Facebook,” she said.
In another interview, she was asked about her biggest fear in life, when she admitted that she has quite a brave personality and doesn’t fear anything, except maybe marriage. “Even in today’s day and age, I’ve seen girls who are not allowed to work after marriage, due to which they couldn’t be financially independent, and subsequently, they are also emotionally dependent.”
Komal has many hit dramas to her credit, with one of her best performances in Raaz-e-Ulfat in which she played a vamp. As for the rest, Mohlat, Gumrah, Bisaat-e-Dil and Bay Khudi were her biggest hits.
