Komal Meer had a childhood crush on this boy-band superstar

  We all had that one celebrity we admired while growing up, but actress Komal Meer's childhood crush might just surprise you.     

Appearing as a guest on Good Morning Pakistan, the Ehd-e-Wafa actress confessed to host Nida Yasir that she had a soft spot for none other than English singer Zayn Malik, the British pop sensation from One Direction.

When asked who her childhood crush was, Komal Meer said, “If you ask about my childhood celebrity crush, I think it was Zayn Malik. I used to make collages of my photos joined with his.”

When asked about the content of her messages, Komal Meer shared a few sweet lines. “Things like, ‘How are you? You’re looking great.’ I even wrote in Urdu sometimes.” 

Although her messages may not have received a response, Komal’s Meer innocent crush is one we can all identify with.

She is currently starring in Ae Dil, directed by Ahmed Bhatti and written by Misbah Nosheen.
