Lahore’s police have registered a case against a man named Nasir Khan on the application of stage actress Urooj, who has accused him of sexual assault and blackmail.
According to the actress’s complaint, Nasir Khan first developed a friendship with her before later luring her with promises of stage drama roles and work opportunities.
She said that he began frequenting her home under the pretext of a professional relationship.
The actress alleged that the accused took advantage of the relationship and took her to his house, where he mixed intoxicants into her drink and assaulted her.
She further alleged that Nasir Khan recorded a nude video of her after the assault.
According to the FIR [First Information Report], the suspect has since been blackmailing her and threatening to leak the video online.
Police are conducting raids to arrest him, adding that they expect to arrest him soon.
This is not the first allegation against involving Nasir Khan and the actress. In 2024, he allegedly opened fire at her residence in broad daylight.
According to reports, Nasir Khan had been trying to force a relationship with the actress at gunpoint at the time and had threatened her for several days before the shooting.
