Police in Khanewal have arrested a man on charges of allegedly raping a 13-year-old classmate of his daughter’s in Basti Khokhranwali, Kabirwala.
The girl’s uncle reported the incident to police, saying in the FIR [First Information Report], that his niece was outside her school on Saturday, waiting to return home when the accused offered to take her home. Instead, he allegedly took her to his house and raped her.
According to the complaint, the man threatened to kill the girl during the assault. Kabirwala City police arrested him following the complaint.
Meanwhile in a separate incident, Syedwala police in Nankana booked a man on Sunday after a married woman alleged that he had raped her multiple times over a period of six months.
The woman said in her complaint that her husband was away from home for work around six months ago when the man entered her house. She alleged that he raped her at gunpoint and recorded a video of the assault.
She further alleged that the man later used the video to blackmail her and repeatedly raped her. According to her complaint, the accused raped her again on Saturday night.
Syedwala police were conducting raids to arrest the accused.
