A man has allegedly shot dead his ex-fiancée in public, six years after she broke off their engagement, a private news channel reported.
As per the details, Malik Khurram allegedly opened fire on Kiran outside a supermarket on GT Road in Dina before fleeing the scene.
The woman had gone to the mart with her parents for shopping when the incident took place.
Khurram and Kiran had been engaged six years ago and had previously been in a relationship.
The engagement was later broken off by Kiran whereas the suspect is now married and has two children.
Kiran was a resident of Nai Abadi in Dina, while Khurram belonged to Chak Aka village in the city.
Her body was shifted to Jhelum District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for post-mortem examination while police probe is underway.
