Actor and reality television personality, Mandana Karimi made news for her controversial antics in the reality show Lock Upp. The actress opened up about being pregnant with a famous director’s child but later had to abort her child as he betrayed her.
However this time she’s facing backlash for twerking in a burqa at a mall in Istanbul.
The video shared by Mandana Karimi was captioned, “I wish shooting with hijab was as easy as this BTS, NO HATES just bunch of people making a film.” As expected, there was backlash over the video and many slammed her for allegedly ‘disrespecting’ the Muslim community.
It was probably a part of the shoot but the actress was dressed in a burqa. She could be seen twerking in the video.
After the video went viral, netizens started scrutinising her act with strong remarks.
