The star recently expressed her admiration for Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
During a press conference held at the Lahore Press Club, Meera praised CM Maryam’s work in Punjab, saying she is doing great work for the province.
“When I see Madam Maryam Nawaz, she inspires me a lot. She is very hard-working,” Meera told journalists.
The Lollywood actress, who has previously thought of contesting polls, said that she has no plans to enter politics and is focused on her acting career, especially during raging inflation.
After Meera’s statement came out, the Chief Minister responded on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Sweet of her.”
