Pop singer Madison Beer and Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert have announced their engagement on Tuesday through a joint Instagram post.

The post featured images showing Herbert on bended knee holding a ring box in front of Beer. The couple captioned the photo set with the statement, “Meet my fiancé.”

The couple first appeared together in August 2025 on the set of a music video shoot in Los Angeles.

Jewelry expert Kegan Fisher, co-founder of jewelry brand Frank Darling stated that the stone set in the engagement ring measures at least 15 carats with a specific length-to-width ratio approaching 2:1.

“Depending on the exact color, clarity, and overall quality, a stone like this would likely be worth $500,000 to over $1 million,” Fisher said.

Fisher described the piece as “exceptionally rare and very difficult to source” due to the cut.

Both individuals hold positions on Forbes financial rankings within their respective sectors. Forbes named the 27-year-old Beer to the 2023 class of the 30 Under 30 Music list. Beer also secured the No. 38 spot on the 2023 Forbes Top Creators list with reported earnings of $2.77 million.

Beer began her career in 2012 after Justin Bieber shared a video of her YouTube performance. She released her third studio album, Locket, in January 2026. The lead single “Make You Mine” received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording. The third single from the album, “Bittersweet,” reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart, while the album itself reached the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Herbert ranked No. 5 on the Forbes Highest-Paid NFL Players list in 2024 before moving to No. 3 in 2025.

On the Forbes World’s Highest-Paid Athletes list, the 28-year-old quarterback placed No. 20 in 2024 and No. 26 in 2025.
