Meghan Markle is in early talks to join the third season of the Netflix series The Gentlemen. The discussion follows reports of her decision to relocate to the UK.

The Guy Ritchie-directed show follows an aristocratic soldier, played by Theo James, who inherits an estate housing an underground cannabis empire. Netflix has not officially renewed the series for a third season, while the second season premieres on Sept. 3.

Representatives have not identified the role Markle might play, and no contract exists between the parties.

An Australian outlet first reported that the Duchess received an offer for a project based in the UK.

The update follows the announcement that Markle and Prince Harry are moving back to the UK with their two children for an extended period after living in California for six years.

A role in the series aligns with Markle’s existing relationship with Netflix. Markle and Prince Harry produce content through their Archewell Productions banner under a contract with the streaming platform.

Their previous projects include the lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, the docuseries Heart of Invictus, and Harry & Meghan. The lifestyle show also marked the launch of her brand, As Ever.

Markle played Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits for seven seasons between 2011 and 2018. She stepped away from acting after her 2018 marriage to Prince Harry. Markle will also make a cameo appearance as herself in the upcoming Amazon MGM comedy Close Personal Friends, alongside Brie Larson and Lily Collins.
