Pakistan’s white-ball head coach Mike Hesson is likely to take extra responsibilities for the Test series against Sri Lanka.
According to reports, he will probably serve as head coach of the Test side.
Hesson took interim charge of the Test team before the third Test against England. He replaced Sarfaraz Ahmed in that role.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka will play a two-match Test series next month. The first Test starts on November 9, and the second starts on November 17.
Hesson currently serves as Pakistan’s permanent white-ball head coach.
Pakistan recently beat Sri Lanka 2-1 in a three-match T20I series. An ODI tri-series with Sri Lanka and England opens on October 18 in Rawalpindi, when Pakistan faces Sri Lanka again.
The tournament moves to Lahore later in the month, while the final takes place at Gaddafi Stadium on October 31.
