Actor and model Huma Saleem has accused a Pakistani cricketer of harassment, intimidation, emotional abuse and character assassination, in a detailed Instagram story that stopped short of naming him.
Saleem wrote that she was posting during “a very unsettling time” and described the cricketer as “a cheat fraud & womaniser.”
She wrote that the situation escalated on the day of her post.
“Today they crossed the limit by threatening & harassing me while I have been in no contact with him since 2 months & whenever i try to move on he always come back & disturbs me mentally,” she wrote.
She added that she believed her conduct spoke for itself.
“No woman can intentionally socially defame herself until the threshold exceeds,” she wrote.
Saleem alleged that the cricketer has used money from the Pakistan Cricket Board improperly and said she plans further disclosures.
“I will expose this bloody cricketer that what they do in hotels with the PCB money in the recent times & this person will be exposed in coming days with my legal team,” she wrote.
She claimed that the harassment extended beyond her, reaching her family and colleagues.
“First they messaged me my family & my colleagues & when i have started my work they are trying to defame me professionally by messaging to my work related colleagues,” she wrote.
She added that the behaviour was not new.
“I have been facing this harassment also while i was with him & this is all due to his family & himself & this is the most heinous thing to damage any person reputation though they have spend a time toghether,” she wrote.
Saleem also described the relationship itself as abusive and said she had reached a breaking point.
“I have been in an abusive relationship & still I never said anything but this time my threshold has exceeded & now its high time to expose this bloody cricketer,” she wrote.
She ended her post by disputing his version of events and promising evidence to support her claims.
“Every story has other sides he only defame me in front of people he’s only cheats & he lies to everyone i will come with each n every proof with my legal team,” she wrote.
So far, no cricketer has publicly responded to Saleem’s allegations.
