Singer and composer Mustafa Zahid has released a new song, “Kehna Chahta Hoon,” along with an official music video.
Tuba Anwar stars in the video, while Hamza Khan Bande directed it. Zahid sang the song and wrote the lyrics. He composed the music with Atif Ali.
Zahid said that the song marks a change in his sound. “‘Kehna Chahta Hoon’ takes me into a new sound, exploring glam rock while keeping the emotion that has always been at the heart of my music,” he wrote in the video’s description.
The release follows a busy year for Zahid. In 2026 he released new versions of “Tera Mera Rishta” and “Toh Phir Aao” for the film Awarapan 2. He also put out a single titled “Tera Mera Rishta 2.0” in August.
Zahid first found success in 2007 with “Toh Phir Aao” and “Tera Mera Rishta.”
He is the lead vocalist of the Lahore rock band Roxen, which formed in 2004. He has also sung several songs for Bollywood films.
