Actor Alizeh Shah took to her Instagram stories to condemn the heinous harassment of a female tiktoker by an aggressive mob at ‘Minar-e-Pakistan’. The Ehad-e-Wafa star has stated that this incident indicates that women are not safe in this country.

A recently surfaced video shows a woman being sexually assaulted by a large group of men at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on 14 August, Pakistan’s independence day. The incident has been confirmed after a First Information Report (FIR) was registered.

The FIR was registered under sections 354 A, 382, 147 and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code against hundreds of unidentified persons for assaulting and stealing from a female TikToker and at least five other people, Dawn has reported.


She recently pointed out in an Instagram video that in this country, forget a random citizen, even a celebrity doesn’t have the autonomy on her choice of dressing. In July 2021, the Tanaa Banaa star received backlash on her choice of dressing at the Hum Style Awards.

On the work front, she will be seen next in Lekin opposite Ali Rehman Khan and Khushal Khan.
