Pakistani actor and television host Nadia Khan has said that YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman aka Ducky Bhai’s gambling apps promotion case should serve as a lesson for youngsters “to work hard instead of looking for shortcuts”.

Speaking on one of her shows, Khan discussed the recent crackdown against influencers for promoting said apps and called the case “an example for youth”.

“Those who think that no action will be taken in Pakistan and everything is easy, should see how Ducky Bhai is being questioned and how Rjab Butt may be brought back to Pakistan via Interpol,” she said, questioning what good were billions of rupees that brought disgrace and humiliation.

“You built a name, you got fans and they turned on you. And now the financial damage Ducky Bhai is suffering, how will he ever make it up? Money may come overnight but so does responsibility.”

“Our parents taught us that money earned easily and without hard work always disappears quickly. When you earn money slowly and through effort, it holds value and brings responsibility,” she said and added that as a mother, she felt “relieved” because millions of children were being influenced especially by Ducky Bhai who “made them believe that education would get you nowhere”.

She also called on youngsters to focus on studies, gradually earning respect and money through hard work and dedication.

Nadia’s comments come as Ducky Bhai continues facing legal troubles for promoting unauthorised gambling and betting applications.

In August, he was arrested from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport while attempting to leave the country.

The FIR filed against him cited 27 video links allegedly promoting apps such as Binomo, 1xBet and B9 Game – platforms accused of defrauding users and operating without regulatory approval in Pakistan.

His physical remand has been extended several times as investigators examine his mobile phones, laptop and financial records.

His wife Aroob Jatoi among other influencers have also been nominated in similar cases.
