International travellers will need a vaccination certificate issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to travel from September 14, according to the Airport Health Department.
The department has directed Umrah pilgrims to obtain their NADRA vaccination cards before departure.
According to the notification, the Federal Government Civil Dispensary will be the only designated centre for vaccinating international travellers.
Airlines have also been directed to verify the vaccination certificates of Umrah pilgrims before allowing them to board.
Passengers who need vaccination at the airport must arrive at least six hours before their scheduled flight.
The Airport Health Department said that vaccination and online registration for international travellers will take place at the international departure area.
The requirement will come into effect from September 14.
