Cleared of all allegations; Nazish Jahangir's lawyer confirms there is no fraud case pending against her
Actress Nazish Jahangir has been fully cleared of all allegations leveled against her, with her lawyer confirming that no fraud case is pending against her. The lawyer described the accusations as entirely baseless and fabricated.
In a detailed statement, the lawyer revealed that the fraud charges filed by petitioner Azaan Asad Haroon were completely false.
Speaking to the media, the lawyer said, “The case involving Nazish Jahangir has been proven baseless, revealing it to be founded on a false FIR filed by complainant Haroon Aswad. This FIR falsely accused Nazish of fraudulent activities, with allegations intended to damage her reputation for the benefit of the complainant's fame. The court, in full accordance with the law, dismissed the case after a thorough trial, confirming Nazish innocence and nullifying the FIR.”
The lawyer clarified that Nazish had always possessed the car in question and owed no money to Haroon.
“The case centered around allegations that Nazish had unlawfully acquired a vehicle, despite it being her legitimate property. No financial accusations against her held up, and with the FIR nullified, there is no need for bail. Consequently, the bail has been withdrawn," the lawyer said.
On the issue of bail, the lawyer emphasized that it was unnecessary because of lack of legal grounds for the case. “Since no valid charges existed, there was no reason for bail. The case simply fell apart in court,” the lawyer states.
“Azaan Asad Haroon, who had both a personal and business relationship with Nazish, allegedly filed the case to harm her reputation for his own benefit," the lawyer alleged.
Currently, Nazish Jahangir faces no active criminal or civil cases. The defamation cases she has filed against the complainant are ongoing, as she continues litigation against the opposing party," he confirmed
Earlier, rising actor Azaan Aswad Haroon claimed that actress Nazish Jahangir not only extorted money from him but also took his car while pretending to introduce him to the showbiz industry.
In an interview with Urdu Point, Aswad Haroon said, “A few years ago, I did a telefilm with Nazish Jahangir for the first time, after which we became friends.” He added that at the time she gave him the "illusion" of introduction to the entertainment industry. "She started extorting money from me," he claimed, adding that, “Nazish Jahangir first demanded Rs 15 lakh from me and later asked for more money while the actress kept asking me for expensive gifts and requesting that I get costly items.” He alleged that later Nazish asked him for a car under false pretenses. "I gave the actress a Honda car worth Rs 25 lakh."
