Railways operations were badly affected by the accident throughout the country. The authorities stopped trains at different railway stations for several hours.
The rescue and relief operation has been completed while the track has been restored after 29 hours.
The rescue operation was completed after the track has been cleared, retrieving the 17 coaches that had been affected by the crash and the engine of the train. Trains that were not operational since Sunday can now resume their operations, officials said.
