Actor Ahad Raza Mir has said he is taking a year off from showbiz, revealing the plan during a recent Instagram live session.
Ahad said that he wants to spend time with his family and enjoy a break from professional life.
“Bro, I’m taking next year off anyway. Let me tell everyone right now, let me get you ready, let me prep you for it. Next year, I am off,” he said.
Ahad said that he will step away from the limelight completely, including from Instagram. He asked fans to see the decision as a kind of “semi-retirement.”
The news surprised fans because Ahad still has upcoming projects lined up.
He did not describe the move as a permanent retirement from acting.
His upcoming work includes Cafe Firaaq with Yumna Zaidi. His Netflix project, Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, is also on the way.
