Noreen Niazi, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has claimed that European and Canadian educational institutions have included “corruption records of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)” in their school curricula.
“I received a phone call from Germany yesterday. Someone called and said that in their schools, children are being taught about the corruption of the N-League and People’s Party in Pakistan. They say that in Germany, in France, in Canada, this subject is being taught. I don’t know about England,” Niazi said.
When a reporter asked if all of it had been been included in their curriculum, Niazi responded, “Yes, a woman called me from Germany yesterday and told me this. And just think, the issue is their identity. Corruption is their identity.”
The statement triggered immediate reactions across social media as netizens questioned the authenticity of the claim, asking whether the audio was “AI-generated” or if Niazi actually said so.
Some resorted to attacking Niazi.
“Noreen Niazi’s statement has exposed the true face of PTI. The gang imposed on KP for 12 years has poisoned children with ‘love for Imran’ instead of books and science, turning them only into political fuel and enemies of the state,” wrote one user.
Another wrote, “At least it was a phone call and not a WhatsApp forwarded message. Hahaha.”
One social media user dismissed the claims outright, writing, “This woman is talking nonsense.”
The statement comes amid ongoing legal proceedings against Niazi regarding her reckless commentary.
The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has granted transit pre-arrest bail to Niazi in a case registered under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016.
The case was registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on July 27 following statements Niazi made regarding the May 2025 stand-off with India.
