Subah Bakhair ,*|MERGE1|*. It’s October 26 and Tuesday.
Match khatam ho gaya lekin meri khushi khatam nahi ho rehi. I guess that’s the case with everyone. At work, we kept talking about Babar and Rizwan’s brilliant performance. On Sunday, I missed my all-time favourite team Manchester United’s match. They lost to Liverpool by 0-5, which was literally a shock.

Anyway, I think it’s time to go back to reality. Dollar aik rupay aur mehnga ho gaya hai; now one US dollar equals Rs175 in the open market. The country’s economy is literally falling apart.

ONE IMPORTANT REMINDER: Don’t miss the asal takra between New Zealand and Pakistan today!!

It is going to be a chilly sunny day across the country.

After three policemen dead, Sheikh Rasheed finds ‘TLP leader Saad Rizvi more cooperative than others’

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed, while speaking at a press conference about the banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) protests in the country, stated that he found the party’s leader Saad Hussain Rizvi “more cooperative” than others.

He said that the government has reached an understanding, and negotiations with the banned organisation are going well. In the press conference, he shared an agreement between the government and the TLP, which will be presented in the National Assembly (NA) as per the minister.

About Rizvi’s release:

The minister said, “A lot of other people insist on freeing him right now. Decisions cannot be taken right now. There is a legal process that we will follow. We will talk to the Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan [who is currently in Saudi Arabia] after his return.”

Earlier, the federal government announced that the cases against the TLP workers would be withdrawn by Wednesday (Oct 27) and assured them that the authorities would also oversee the charges imposed under the fourth schedule.
Under the Fourth Schedule, the suspects of terrorism and sectarianism are placed under the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.
In a tweet, Rasheed said, “We have released 350 TLP workers up to now.”

Casualties during the protests:

Because of last week’s protest in Lahore, three policemen were martyred in clashes with TLP while the banned organisation had claimed that their 500 workers were injured.

The Facebook Papers may be the biggest crisis in the company’s history

According to CNN, Facebook has confronted whistleblowers, PR firestorms and Congressional inquiries in recent years. But now it faces a combination of all three at once in what could be the most intense and wide-ranging crisis in the company’s 17-year history.

Last week, a consortium of 17 US news organisations began publishing a series of stories collectively called “The Facebook Papers”, based on a trove of hundreds of internal company documents, which were included in disclosures made to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Woah! This is a big problem.

Check out the story to see what they found.

WATCH- Dune

It is one of the greatest sci-fi films ever delivered. For an average moviegoer, it would just be an amazing movie like always. But for me, I learned that the director of this movie, Denis Villeneuve, had a dream to make an adaptation of Dune. It is an absolute beauty from its screenplay to its cinematography. I am so happy I got to see this at the cinema. This movie is a Must-watch for all the people out there and I HIGHLY recommend watching it in theatres.
