Pakistan fans want Muhammad Amir for World Cup 2023
Pakistan cricket fans are calling on Muhammad Amir to join the the team for the World Cup 2023 as Nasim Shah’s replacement. #AMIR was trending on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) in Pakistan since the previous two days.
Pacer Nasim Shah has sustained a shoulder injury during the Pak-India match on September 10, potentially causing him to miss World Cup 2023 and the upcoming season of PSL (Pakistan Super League). The PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) is seeking a second pacer option for the tournament.

The news has left fans disappointed because Naseem Shah is a key-performer bowler in the Pakistan cricket team.
Muhammad Amir retired from the Pakistan Cricket team in 2020. He played his last match against Sri Lanka in Karachi.
