The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced the schedule for the Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026, as per which Pakistan and India will be facing each other on Sept 5.
As per the details, the tournament will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium from August 28 to September 13, with all 15 matches scheduled as day-night fixtures.
Eight teams will compete in the tournament, split into two groups of four. Defending champions India, Pakistan, Thailand and Hong Kong, China make up Group A, whereas Group B features Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Thailand will take on Hong Kong, China in the opening match on August 28, while Pakistan will begin their campaign against Thailand on September 1.
The highly anticipated clash between Pakistan and India is scheduled for September 5, after which Pakistan will face Hong Kong, China in their final group-stage match on September 7.
The knockout stage will begin with the first semi-final on September 10, followed by the second semi-final on September 11.
The final will take place on September 13.
