The second Test match between Pakistan and England is being played at Multan Cricket Stadium. England has a 1-0 lead in this series, winning the first Test match by 47 runs and an inning at the same venue.
Day one of 2nd Test:
Pakistan captain Shan Masood won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistan lost the first two wickets on a total of 19 runs, but Saim Ayub and Kamran Ghulam made an impressive partnership of 149 runs. Saim returned to the pavilion for 77 runs, while Kamran Ghulam scored his maiden Test 100 in his debut match. He is the 13th Pakistani to have achieved this milestone.
Kamran scored 118 runs and was dismissed by Shoaib Bashir; apart from this, Saud Shakeel was dismissed for four runs.
On Day One, Pakistan scored 259 for the loss of five wickets.
Day One:
The second day of the Multan Test is ongoing, where Pakistan has scored 358 runs, losing eight wickets.
Muhammad Rizwan scored 41 runs and was dismissed by Brydon Carse. Currently, Aamir Jamal and Nauman Ali are on the crease, scoring 31 and 29 runs, respectively, before the lunch break.

First Test Match:
In the first test match, England defeated Pakistan by an innings and 47 runs.
Pakistan scored 556 runs in the first innings. Shaan Masood, Abdullah Shafiq and Salman Ali Agha scored centuries for Pakistan.
In reply, England scored 823 runs on seven wickets thanks to Harry Brook’s triple century and Joe Root’s double century.
Harry Brook scored 317 runs, while Joe Root scored 262 runs. This was the highest total against Pakistan in Test history.
On the fourth day, Pakistan showed a very disappointing performance in the second innings, and six players returned to the pavilion for only 82 runs. Pakistan started their second incomplete innings on the fifth day with 152 runs for six out. Salman Ali Agha was at the wicket with 41 runs, and Aamir Jamal with 27 runs.
Pakistan’s whole team returned to the pavilion with a total of 220 runs, and England won this match by 47 runs and an inning.
