A Pakistani national faces potential charges in Thailand after a female passenger accused him of sexual assault during an international flight.
As per the details, 33-year-old Beaut Pimpaporn reported that the incident occurred on flydubai flight FZ-1583 from Dubai to Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport.
According to her, she woke up from a nap to find 30-year-old Raza Ali touching her inappropriately while her four-year-old daughter slept on her lap. Pimpaporn maintained that Ali tried to disguise his actions by reaching toward the seatback entertainment system.
Rather than creating a disturbance mid-flight, Pimpaporn reported the event to flight attendants immediately after touchdown. Flight crew members questioned the suspect, who initially rejected the claims before offering a full confession.
Ali then dropped to his knees, broke down in tears and repeatedly begged the victim for forgiveness. Several members of his Pakistani tour group also stepped in to intercede on his behalf, urging the victim to drop the matter.
Cabin staff rejected the pleas for leniency, ordered the tour group members away and summoned law enforcement. Crew members also removed Pimpaporn’s young daughter from the scene to shield her from the confrontation.
Thai tourist police and immigration officials boarded the aircraft upon arrival, escorted Ali off the aircraft and took him into custody.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Chamnanyut Konkong confirmed that authorities denied the suspect entry into the country.
Konkong noted that standard procedures involve a mediation attempt before formal interrogation proceedings begin.
Pimpaporn stated her intention to pursue full legal action and seek financial compensation. She publicly shared her experience to urge women traveling alone to report misconduct instantly without shame.
A representative for flydubai declined to discuss specific passenger data or the active investigation, adding that passenger and crew safety remains the airline’s primary concern.
