Indian female wrestler Antim Panghal and her team, who participated in Olympics 2024, have been deported from France.

According to Indian media, security caught her sister using Antim’s accreditation card when to the Olympic Village to retrieve their luggage. She managed to enter but was caught by a security officer while returning. The wrestler and her team are being deported for committing a major disciplinary violation, according to Olympic rules, as giving the accreditation card to anyone is a major disciplinary violation.

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) says the decision was taken for a disciplinary violation.

According to Indian media, she was taken to the police station to record her statement. Her personal support staff also failed to pay a taxi driver, prompting the driver to call the police.
