Actress Alizeh Shah has found herself in the spotlight after responding to social media users who claimed her changed appearance was the result of cosmetic surgery or beauty filters.
The actress took to her Instagram Stories to address the rumors in a series of videos, questioning why people are so quick to assume that anyone who looks different or loses weight must have undergone surgery.
“Let me tell you guys one thing, is there something wrong with your brain or your eyes? No, but seriously, what are you guys talking about? Where is the god damn filter? There is no filter in my video,” Alizeh said.
She continued, “I think apparently, if someone starts looking better than someone else, or if someone loses more weight than what people expected, the very first question that pops into a person’s mind is, ‘Bro, it’s surgery, it’s surgery.'”
Throughout the video, the actress repeatedly touched her face to demonstrate that she was not using any filter. In another Instagram story, she showed her eyelashes and wrote, “and no these aren’t lash extensions.”
The videos came after Shah faced criticism and speculation following the viral circulation of her latest “Get Ready with Me” video. The actress maintained that her lifted appearance is the result of makeup techniques rather than Botox or cosmetic surgery.
Many fans came out to support her, praising her natural beauty. Several admirers even described her as a “real-life Barbie doll.”

Alizeh Shah rose to fame at a young age and quickly became one of the most recognised faces on Pakistani television.
