A pregnant woman abducted by terrorists of the banned Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has been raped and killed in Awaran district, Balochistan, her father has alleged in a video statement.
The victim’s father has said that his daughter Rubina was taken from their home on the night of July 20-21 by a man identified as Akbar Ghani, accompanied by armed BLF members.
“I was not at home that night. They took my daughter while she was asleep,” he said.
He alleged that the armed men sexually assaulted his pregnant daughter and then subjected her to severe assault, adding that the group held her captive for four days before dumping her body on the fifth. Her mutilated remains were recovered on July 25 from a nullah in the Kubri area of Awaran.
The father demanded justice for his daughter and called on security forces to bring those responsible for her abduction and killing to account.
Separately, security sources said that three more terrorists linked to India were killed during Operation Al Azm in Mastung district, taking the total number of militants killed in the operation to 13.
