PSL 11 breaks digital records, outpaces last year's combined viewership total within 22 matches

Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 has recorded 1.1 billion digital views after just 22 matches, surpassing last year's non-live benchmark at the same stage of the tournament.

According to PSL official statement, the numbers cover highlights, reels, clips, short-form videos, and post-match content distributed across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and WhatsApp.

Live streaming figures for the current season have not been released yet and are not part of this total.

Facebook accounts for the bulk of the views at 715.1 million, with Instagram next at 210.8 million. YouTube, across PSL's own channel, network, and partner channels, has contributed 171.9 million views. TikTok sits at 68 million, X at 12.1 million, and WhatsApp at 1.5 million. Total impressions across platforms stand at 3.37 billion, with 2.03 billion minutes of watch time logged.

At the same 22-match point in PSL X last year, the league had recorded 1.4 billion total views and 2.87 billion impressions, but those figures included live streaming alongside digital content. PSL 11's numbers are digital content only, making the growth more significant on a like-for-like basis.

Watch time reflects the same trend. PSL 11 has clocked 2.03 billion minutes from digital content alone, against 1.3 billion minutes from PSL X's combined live and digital total at the equivalent stage.

PSL X's live streaming ran through Daraz, Myco, Tamasha, Tapmad, and Begin, and covered Pakistan only. PSL 11's streaming partners are Myco, Tamasha, Tapmad, and Big Baat, though those viewership numbers are still to be announced.

When released, they will give a fuller picture of the season's total digital reach.

PSL 11 matches in Karachi and Lahore have so far been held behind closed doors due to government restrictions linked to the fuel crisis.

The mega event runs from March 26 to May 3 and for the first time features eight teams competing for the title.
