Karachi Kings scored 165 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the scheduled overs and set Islamabad United a target of 166 runs to win. Kieron Pollard remained not out with 48 runs, captain Shan Masood scored 27 runs, Tim Seifert was dismissed for 8 runs by Imad Wasim.
Leus du Plooy returned to the pavilion after scoring 24 runs, Shoaib Malik was run out after scoring 6 runs.

Islamabad United inning
From Islambad’s side, Colin Munro played a brilliant innings of 82 runs off 47 balls, his innings included 8 fours and 4 sixes. Alex Hales was outstanding with 47 runs, Imad Wasim returned to the pavilion without scoring any runs, captain Shadab Khan remained not out with 10 runs and Agha Salman scored 25 runs.
