Renowned Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan recently performed at the ‘Echoes of Revolution’ concert at the Army Stadium in Dhaka, bringing the magic of Pakistani music to Bangladesh.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and his team performed without compensation and chose not to take any profit from ticket sales. The concert featured popular local bands such as Art Cell, Charkat, Aftermath, Silsila, and rap artists Shezan and Hanan.

The concert was organized by Spirits of July to support the families of those martyred and injured in the violent protests that occurred in July-August this year. The organizers announced that all proceeds from the event would be donated to the ‘Shuhada Memorial Foundation,’ a charity supporting affected families.

In tribute to the significant role of students in the Bangladesh revolution, the organizers offered special discounts on tickets for students. VIP tickets, initially priced at 10,000 Bangladeshi taka, were reduced to 8,400 Bangladeshi taka for students.

Front row tickets were discounted from 4,500 to 3,420 Bangladeshi taka, and general tickets from 2,500 to 1,600 Bangladeshi taka. Special booths were set up at all public and private universities in Dhaka for ticket purchases.

Previously, renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam also performed at the Magical Night 2.0 concert in Bangladesh. His captivating performance extended two hours beyond the scheduled time, delighting the audience at the Army Stadium in Dhaka. Atif Aslam also interacted with fans, signing posters, photos, and T-shirts during the event.
