YouTuber Rajab Butt has addressed reports circulating online that he and his ex-wife Emaan Fatima are reconciling, dismissing any suggestion that the two are back together.
Speaking during a recent TikTok live session, Rajab confirmed that Emaan had sent him a bouquet, calling it a “sweet gesture,” but made clear that it did not change anything between them.
“Emaan chose her own family, and I chose mine. Yes, if our marriage had been five or ten years old, the bond between us would have been different. If we had prioritized ourselves, maybe she wouldn’t have taken her family’s side, and I wouldn’t have either. We would have stayed together,” he said.
He was firm that the two were not friends.
“There is no friendship between us anymore. Friendship doesn’t just happen because of one meeting. A friendship is built over time; it’s not a joke,” he confirmed.
Rajab then referenced an incident from several months earlier, accusing Emaan of publicly insulting him before now attempting to reach out.
“Seven months ago, you posted a story, insulted me publicly, defamed me, and now you’re sending bouquets. Let what is over stay over. Go find a new target now, and worry about your own home. Leave me alone,” he stated.
He went on to say he would not respond to her again.
“As for me, I swear on my mother, I won’t respond to you after this. But remember one thing: all the recordings you’ve made aren’t the only evidence. I may not have recorded our conversations, but you made one huge mistake. You assumed everyone in that group was blindly on your side. They weren’t. They saw everything. They know the kind of language you used and the way you spoke to people,” he warned.
Speculation about a reconciliation between Rajab and Emaan had been building for weeks before his TikTok live appearance.
Reports suggested that Emaan and the couple’s son Kivan had sent Rajab a get well card while he was recovering from an illness, which many fans took as a sign that the family was coming back together.
The situation shifted further after Emaan’s brother, Aoun Sheikh, publicly apologised to Rajab and said that both families had worked through their differences privately.
Rajab’s own comments on his TikTok live session, however, indicate that reconciliation is not on the cards, despite the bouquet and the reported apology from Emaan’s brother.
Butt married Emaan Fatima in 2024 in a wedding that went viral on social media. The marriage ran into trouble when Emaan’s brother made public allegations that Butt had cheated on his wife while she was pregnant.
Butt later confirmed the divorce during a podcast appearance, after which a legal notice was also sent to Emaan.
She shared the notice on her social media accounts along with an emotional message, saying that she and their son Kivan had been going through a painful time.
