Rakhi Sawant, the ever-controversial yet kind-hearted Bollywood diva, has made headlines once again, but this time for a very personal and spiritual cause. After converting to Islam, the actress, who now goes by Rakhi Fatima, sponsored Umrah for 20 Muslims, including 10 Indians and 10 Pakistanis. Her generous act, which was revealed via a video message from Dubai, has gone viral on social media, with many people applauding her compassion.

Rakhi said in a heartfelt video that she wanted to perform the deed of kindness prior to the holy month of Ramadan. "I am covering the cost of sending ten Indian and ten Pakistani brothers and sisters for Umrah. I wanted to do something for Allah's sake before Ramadan," she said.

Rakhi personally distributed Ihrams (special pilgrimage robes) while standing among the pilgrims. "I shall be presenting these brothers with ihrams while I'm in Dubai. I've never done anything like this before, so I'm a little anxious," she said. With enthusiasm and sincerity in her voice, she continued, "May Allah accept my good deed."

Before the pilgrims left for Saudi Arabia, Rakhi gave them food, as seen in photos and videos. Numerous others were spotted giving her hugs and expressing gratitude for fulfilling their longtime desire to perform Umrah.

Ever since Rakhi converted to Islam prior to her second marriage, there has been much discussion about her spiritual path. She still maintains her faith, though, and appears to be committed to helping others in spite of her personal hardships and failed marriage. Although her private life sometimes garners media attention and controversies, this time around her kindness is earning her raves.

Social media is abuzz with responses as the story goes viral, with some people doubting her motivations and others expressing their sincere gratitude for her effort. Whatever the viewpoints, one thing is for sure, Rakhi Sawant has once again managed to surprise everyone, but this time with a long-lasting gesture of generosity and faith.
