Reacher actor Alan Ritchson recently went on a profanity-laced rant about the Epstein files during an interview posted on Josh Horowitz’s YouTube channel, in remarks widely interpreted as commentary on US President Donald Trump.
Ritchson does not name Trump directly in the clip, but mention of Epstein files and references to “the keys to the nuclear codes” left little doubt among media outlets covering the clip about who he meant.
“The world is on fire. Yeah, like all mad about the way things are and the abuses that are happening. The Epstein files! The fcking Epstein files! Goddammit! Where are they? It’s a fcking law, b*tch! Show it,” Ritchson said.
He continued, arguing that the files need to be released so people can be held accountable. “Don’t you want to see what’s in there so that we can hold people accountable? These fcking rapists. We’re just cool with it. That btch has the keys to the nuclear. He’s like, we’re like all up into 13 year olds. Like, dude, what? Go to jail,” Ritchson stated.
The clip spread quickly online, drawing both sharp pushback and praise aimed at Ritchson for the comments.
This is not the first time Ritchson has taken aim at the president. On past occasions he has named Trump outright. In an April 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said, “Trump is a rapist and a con man,” criticising Christians who continued to support him despite the allegations against him.
Ritchson’s relationship with the previous administration looked very different. In June 2025, former President Joe Biden, along with Jill and Hunter Biden, unexpectedly showed up at the Philadelphia set of Reacher Season 4 while out for breakfast nearby.
Ritchson later posted about the encounter on Instagram.
