Danish Taimoor’s performance in a recent Nashtar episode has come under discussion on social media, with viewers mocking his acting in an emotional scene.
The scene shows Taimoor’s character Shah Dawood dealing with the death of his father, but instead of focusing on the emotional moment, social media users quickly began mocking the actor’s expressions and performance.
Several viewers compared the scene to a parody while others questioned Taimoor’s acting choices. “Danish Taimoor doing such acting?? Retire him ASAP,” one user wrote. “My eyes need to be bleached with acid,” another commented.
“Has Danish Taimoor forgotten how to act because what is this,” ine viewer asked.
One person joked that even the doctor in the scene appeared scared of what was happening, writing, “The doctor is as afraid as the rest of the audience.”
“I can’t tell if this is a serious Geo drama scene or a TikTok parody filter. What did they do to my guy Danish,” another reaction asked.
“Mama, this Danish Taimoor is scaring me,” one person wrote.
Another user criticised Taimoor’s repeated roles and wrote that his dramas can receive millions of views but claimed that his characters often feature the same dialogues, scripts and storylines.
“Honestly, I didn’t expect such bad acting from Danish Taimoor,” one comment stated.
One comment simply attributed his appearance in the scene to a “case of too much Botox.”
Another viewer said they had decided not to watch Taimoor’s shows until he changes his approach to acting, while another argued that the actor has the ability to do more but repeatedly takes on similar roles.
A user also criticised the way Taimoor’s characters get presented as heroes despite their behaviour in dramas, arguing that he could instead play villainous characters.
The makeup in the scene also became a target of jokes, with one viewer writing, “5 kilo makeup stopping him to act.”
Viewers also noticed another detail in the scene involving Shah Dawood’s father, whose life-support equipment appeared to be connected to an extension cord lying on the floor.
“Lol, they literally connected the life support to an extension cord and that too the one lying on the floor,” one user joked.
Another commentator wrote, “Nobody gives a f*ck about Papa in this house.”

Nashtar stars Danish Taimoor as Shah Dawood, Anmol Baloch as Bareera Aijaz and Naeema Butt as Tamseel. Usman Peerzada plays Dastoor and Ali Khan also features in the drama.
The story follows Shah Dawood, the heir to a landowning family, and Bareera, a university student who challenges his authority. Their conflict eventually leads to an unexpected marriage, while Tamseel’s feelings for Shah Dawood create further complications.
