Robbers snatch pizza from rider in Faisalabad
Greedy robbers snatched pizza from a delivery boy in Faisalabad, the fourth such incident in the last 45 days.
Geo News reported that this is the fourth incident of pizza delivery boys being looted by robbers in the past one and a half months.
A police official informed the media that two motorcycle-riding robbers robbed a pizza delivery boy named Amanullah near Madina Town police station.
The delivery boy told the police that the suspect had snatched the pizza, the pizza bag, his mobile phone, and Rs 3,000 from him, adding that the robbers fled after looting.
The First Information Report (FIR) of the case has been registered at Madina Town police station.
In previous incidents, the pizza-stealing muggers snatched pizza in the areas of Saddar and other areas under the jurisdiction of the Madina Town police station.
Earlier in November, muggers stole four pizzas from a delivery boy at gunpoint.
Usman, the delivery boy, also registered a case with the police against two unidentified suspects at Saddar Police Station on charges of “pizza robbery”.
Notably, a similar incident took place in the city’s Sufyan Town, where pizzas worth Rs 1,800 were stolen.
However, the police have not yet been able to catch the suspected robbers.
