Saheefa Jabbar Khattak criticizes society’s obsession with ‘nonsense’ family vlogs

We live in a world where the internet offers limitless knowledge, yet it seems we have collectively decided that watching someone burn toast in their kitchen is the peak of entertainment—at least according to actress Saheefa Jabbar Khattak.

Saheefa Jabbar Khattak believes that people in our society are not using the internet and social media wisely. Instead of consuming informative and educational content, she stated, "they waste time on 'nonsense' like family vlogs."

In a recent podcast interview, Saheefa criticized our society's media habits, noting that the popularity of family vlogs is leading the younger generation to follow this career path.

"Our society mainly watches family vlogs, which provide no knowledge," she said.

"People prefer this content, so family vloggers get millions of views and earn a lot of money—more than my father or husband, despite their education."

Speaking about her own Instagram, she said, "If I start posting about my family and home, my views will increase. If I show what I'm cooking, my kitchen mistakes, or pranks with my husband, my posts will get more views."

She concluded, "Unfortunately, this is what our society wants to watch, and that's why these vloggers are so popular."
