Actor Sajal Aly has urged people to support food delivery riders and drivers by tipping them well, pointing towards the financial pressure they face as fuel costs spike.

Taking to Instagram stories, she shared a message highlighting the daily challenges faced by riders who spend long hours on the road to earn a living.

"The people delivering our food and driving us around spend their entire day on the road. With petrol prices rising it's getting even harder for them. If you can please tip them generously. It's the least we can do," she wrote.

Sajal remains one of Pakistan’s most respected actors. She gained widespread recognition for her performances in dramas like Yakeen Ka Safar, Alif and Sinf-e-Aahan.

She also starred in the international film Mom alongside Sridevi, earning praise for her performance.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s government announced a major cut in fuel prices. The prime minister reduced petrol prices by Rs80 per liter, bringing the rate down from Rs458.41 to Rs378 per liter starting midnight Saturday.

The move came a day after a sharp increase, when petrol prices were raised by Rs137.24 per liter and diesel by Rs184.49 per liter, pushing diesel to Rs520.35 per liter.
