Amid all the backlash that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan continues to face after referring to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari as “sahiba”, musician Salman Ahmed has stepped up to defend him.
In a tweet on Wednesday evening, Salman, who is well-known for his undeterred support for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, said that “calling someone sahiba is a sign of respect”.
Calling someone sahiba unintentionally or intentionally is a sign of respect to the feminine side of human beings.

His statement, however, wasn’t very well received by Twitterati, who had termed PM Imran’s remarks as “disgustingly sexist” a day earlier.
Indeed. Blind following is such a curse in Pakistan. Nawaz supporters defending corruption and Khan supporters defending misognystic remarks.

Sadly we are left with no sane voice.
That's what blind personality following does to otherwise decent people. Trying to be more loyal to the royal……!

Ok, Salman sahiba.

And mindlessly defending a cult leader, intentionally or unintentionally, is a sign of a failed music career.

Mr khan is representing himself constantly, like madina state leaders as they are his mentors and ideals, then why he is unable to follow their footsteps, and have failed to develop public speaking skills like them??..huh
